SMS Terms & Consent

EventVidia is an event-planning platform. Event hosts use EventVidia to organize their events and communicate with the guests they invite. With this program, EventVidia sends account notifications and customer care messages related to a specific event — for example, invitations, RSVP confirmations, schedule and venue reminders, digital entry passes (QR codes) for check-in, and replies to questions a recipient sends us.

Messages are event-specific and transactional. We do not sell phone numbers or send unsolicited marketing.

Consent to receive SMS from EventVidia is obtained in one of two ways:

1. Direct opt-in on our website.

• You can opt in directly using the sign-up form at the top of this page: you enter your mobile number and affirmatively check a consent box (unchecked by default, never pre-selected) before submitting.
• The same clearly labeled checkbox also appears next to the phone field elsewhere on eventvidia.com — for example, when you register for or purchase tickets to an event.
• The checkbox reads: “I agree to receive recurring SMS text messages from EventVidia at the number provided, including event invitations, RSVP requests, reminders, and entry passes. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help,” and links to this SMS Policy and our Privacy Policy.
• We only send SMS to a number if this box has been affirmatively checked.

2. Host-facilitated, for a specific event.

• A guest gives an event host their mobile number in connection with a specific event (for example, when they are invited, RSVP, or share their contact so the host can send event updates).
• Before sending any SMS through EventVidia, the host must affirmatively confirm — via a required checkbox in the Send Invitations screen — that each recipient has agreed to receive event text messages from that host through EventVidia.

In both cases, every message identifies EventVidia and the event and includes opt-out instructions (reply STOP). We send these messages only for the specific event, on the host's behalf. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we do not message anyone who has not opted in as described above.

• “Hi Sarah! You're invited to Alex & Jordan's Wedding on Aug 15. Please RSVP: eventvidia.com/rsvp/… — Reply STOP to opt out.”
• “Reminder: Company Offsite is tomorrow at 9:00 AM. Your entry pass: eventvidia.com/pass/… — Reply STOP to opt out.”
• “Your tickets for Jazz Night are ready: eventvidia.com/t/… — Reply STOP to opt out.”

Message frequency varies by event and by the host's activity — typically a small number of messages per event (for example, an invitation, one or two reminders, and an entry pass).

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation and no further SMS messages, unless you opt back in.

We handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information (including mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in / consent data) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number only with our SMS delivery provider, solely to deliver the event messages described above.
